Tenor, Jimi : Total devastation
The more intoxicated you get, the more it sounds like the funkiest thing you've heard for at least a week.
Imagine two drunken plumbers from Surrey doing a karaoke rap over
ancient Parliament cheese-funk groove. No-one wants to be exposed to that when they've popped out for a quick half down the local theme pub. And then you listen again and it starts to make a perverse kind of sense. For a start it seems to have ripped off 'Superstition' by Stevie Wonder and a long-lost Heaven 17 bootleg. That's laudable behaviour in the circumstances, and the more intoxicated you get, the more it sounds like the funkiest thing you've heard for at least a week. You know it's wrong, but it just feels so right.
