Electric Music : Electric music EP

Something more of a surprise though, is that it is very, very good indeed.

More music journalists determined to swop sides halfway through the game, Electric Music confuse the issue somewhat by having no outspoken agenda of aesthetic pop principles to impart, more a

quiet

and apparently basement-derived set of melancholic lo-fi pieces. A work of taste rather than one of overriding passion, it should be

no

surprise that last track 'Look So Haunted' lurks between David Bowie, Traffic and sampledelic Germans Tarwater. Something more of a surprise though, is that it is very, very good indeed.

The journalistic/pop boundaries blur apace. Witter! Two-hundred words on To Rococo Rot by Friday, or I'll set the dogs on

you.
