Dane Bowers : Another Lover
Well, it beats working
The family-pack Craig David returns with a tale of love turned sour. 'Latino' in feel, thanks exclusively to its Spanish guitar licks, we're here introduced to what Arista are calling "the more mature sound of Dane", meaning that the Whopper's vast appetite for UK garage has been replaced, hopefully temporarily, by a craving for anaemic summer balladry. "I'm twice the man that you let go", wails Dane, presumably inferring that by now he's ballooned to a colossal 38 stone. Bowers is soon to be found duetting with Kelis on an imminent Phil Collins tribute album. Well, it beats working.
