NERD : Lap Dance

Draws parallels between politicians and strippers

NERD : Lap Dance

N*E*R*D is the acronym for

No-one Ever Really Dies, the intriguing post-everything project helmed by sickeningly talented US R&B super-producers The Neptunes. From Virginia Beach, Virginia, the charismatic Chad Hugo and Pharrell Williams have made amazing records for Kelis, Mystikal, Ludacris, Jay-Z, Ol' Dirty Bastard, Backstreet Boys and 'NSync, but 'Lap Dance' is their craziest production yet. A poisonous satirical attack burned into staccato digital soul and platinum funk, 'Lap Dance' is a modern American parable that draws parallels between politicians and strippers while simultaneously instructing you to dance. As ferociously cool as this single unavoidably is, the pair's debut album 'In Search Of...' contains many more moments of genuine genius.
