Alder & Elius : King of Pop

Weirdly moving electronic compositions

Little is known about Alder & Elius, except that Justin and Jesika program the sounds, America is their home, and their recent 'Parental Guidance' album on Skam is incredible. The pair's second single, 'King Of Pop', and its sister track, 'Selected Memories From The Astonishing Hereafter', again display A&E's propensity

for crafting weirdly moving electronic compositions out of scrambled porno samples and Jean-Michel Jarre-esque analogue experimentation. Skam originally brought us Boards Of Canada.

In a way, Alder And Elius are just as special.
