Witness : You Are All My Own Invention

Are we running out of things to say about this kind of second division indie?

You can't fault their sincerity - this is chest-puffing Big Music (well, kind of medium-sized). Unfortunately, everything else is easy to criticise - the way the chorus just doesn't soar the way it should, the wonky lyrics (what is that title meant to mean?) and the lame production. Even the feedback at the end is a polite little squeak rather than a speaker-shredding howl. Has it been pointed out that the keyboard and guitarists' name is Julian Pransky-Poole? And are we running out of things to say about this kind of second division indie?
