Heron : Lemon Aid/Jukebox Saloon

What the Bugsy Malone soundtrack might have sounded like if it'd been scored by Super Furry Animals...

Heron : Lemon Aid/Jukebox Saloon

Heron is the new [a]Beck[/a]. Exciting stuff, obviously. But before you flee to the hills in blind panic, 'Jukebox Saloon' is what the Bugsy Malone soundtrack might have sounded like if it'd been scored by the [a]Super Furry Animals[/a], all collapsing breakbeats and music hall piano, while 'Lemon Aid' is lo-fi toytown dope-hop, kind of like [a]Gonzales[/a] with less sleaze and more wonky sound effects. It bodes well for his forthcoming debut album and with the old Beck having gone completely off the rails, Heron might be just the thing we all need.
