A form of torture, perhaps, exacted by their leader Kurt Wagner while he spins his exceptional tales of the women, insects and really bright dogs that gather on his Nashville porch.
Two-and-a-half minutes into 'Is A Woman', however, Wagner's lackeys exact their awful revenge, shifting his latest charming reverie slides out of his control and into the kind of gormless reggae-lite normally played by alcoholics on cruise liners. "That'll teach the softly-spoken little Hitler," you can almost hear them snigger. "And next time - we rock."
