The Hiss : Triumph

A triumph? You better believe it

The Hiss : Triumph

The Hiss are about to become your new favourite band. Hearing them is like hearing The Strokes for the first time, like hearing Oasis in their pomp, like hearing Jack White howl. It's immediate. While The Strokes find their muse amongst the bones of 70's New York garage, The Hiss dig in an altogether different direction. 'Triumph', their debut single and the first ever on Loog, sees the Atlantan four-piece pile through their favourite bits of early Oasis and The Verve and bend them together with a killer guitar hook and a fearsome intent. It's big and it swaggers and it sounds like the future. A triumph? You better believe it. Surrender now.
