Paramore
Paramore
Hallelujah
Despite being about two-feet tall, orange-locked yelper Hayley Williams has quite a set of lungs on her. They sound like they’ve spent the past 25 years warbling their way through eternal renditions of ‘Total Eclipse Of The Heart’ in working men’s clubs across the least fragrant sections of the north of England. These powerhouse vocals are the perfect foil to the chugging, almost-ballad emo guitars and a song that, if it was sung by a weedy chap sporting badly-applied eyeliner, would just seem embarrassing. Paramore we can take or leave, but Hayley damn well rules.
