Alec Empire

The Golden Foretaste Of Heaven

Berliner Alec Empire has been making brittle-nosed, uncompromising digital-thrash-disco for years. Highlight ‘New Man’ beckons Suicide-esque evil forces through a distorted speaker amid a mess of bluster-core beats. More thrilling torment from one Empire that will never crumble.

This should have been given a 10, an 8 isnt good enough for this man.

Bringing the new intelligent and fresh sound from Berlin to everywhere, its as exciting as discovering Gary Numan for the first time when you've "Closet dabbled" in electronic back in the day.

Strong sounds and minimalistic beats as found in "Robot L.O.V.E." grind a sexy groove into the dancefloors, "Ice" bringing experimental and excitement into a context with it's basic sound but full force kicking message.
"On Fire" is a hard hitting maelstrom of guitars and heavy crashing drums which is guaranteed to satisfy anyone curious to check out the album.

If you're into changing your music style into forward thinking, you're best to start right here!
