It’s always sad when a relationship ends, unless it involves a minor reality TV star and the singer of a comedy ska band, but if you are embroiled in the emotional scab-picking that precedes The Big Split, you can at least console yourself with the knowledge that the pain and suffering you are undergoing fuels great pop. ‘Put The Sun Back’ sees James Skelly choked up and agonised, as he realises that he is losing his loved one: bummer for him, ace for the rest of us, as he weeps out a truly beautiful, Kinks-esque pastoral lament. Sad and lovely, like a butterfly passed out pissed in a ditch.

the coral are quite possibly one of the most underated bands of all time, they are better than a lot of the bands that are out today and getting not much recognition, people who go and buy things like pigeon detectives klaxons n the cribs should be ashamaed of themselvs

Agree with Rick 13. If you haven't as yet purchased "Roots and Echoes" you could certainly do alot worse. In my opinion it was the second best album of last year, from the best, most prolific band since Oasis.

the coral are going to be a band in years to come, people will discover them and think to themselfs all this time ive been listening to the arctic monkeys when i could have been listening to the coral, what fools we have all been, the coral truely are a great band, i saw them supporting oasis a few years back and they are 1 of the few bands around at the moment that actually have talent. support the coral you stupid nation and go buy their albums... NOW!!!
