Glasvegas

Daddy’s Gone

Alright, it’s already been TOTW, but ‘Daddy’s Gone’’s power only continues to swell. Essentially Jeremy Kyle imagined by My Bloody Valentine, it’s one of those rare beasts: a tune guaranteed to spend the next 10 years soundtracking the lives of lonely misfits and hardened football hoolies. Long may daddy’s absence – and Glasvegas’ unstoppable ascent to The Big Time – continue.

Such a bland and unoriginal song with nothing much going for it. They can't be forgotten soon enough.

I'm trying really hard to understand the big deal about Glasvegas. Geraldine was an interesting song but nothing amazing and this song just bores me. Maybe after a few more listens it'l catch me or maybe i could pretend i like them and jump on the bandwagon like evry nme journalist

I like Glasvegas well enought but this song is a bit average eh.I imagine though, people would confuse how it sounds live with how it sounds on their iPod headphones in some sort of weird aural hallucination. I am off to bed.
