Ladyhawke

Dusk Till Dawn

This sounds like The Human League, so it’s basically game over. At first Ladyhawke is going on about a stalker outside banging on the wall “from dusk till dawn”, then both you and she realise it’s just midnight paranoia. Which doesn’t make it any less scary or catchy than the hands coming out of the walls in Polanski’s Repulsion. Insanity and fear in a classic pop format? Thank God the ’80s revival has hit its bedroom-weirdo part.

I love this track. It takes me back to my crazy clubbing days working in Ibiza..
