Fille A Plumes

Malajube

Loitering in the same corner of the gloom rock library as Metric, Montreal indie-nosieniks Malajube (pronounced Mal-a-zoob, should you wish to impress) have timed their run to perfection. Cerebral, gothic, but infused with the same ramshackle joie de vivre as Clap Your Hands Say Yeah!, ‘Fille A Plumes’ is proof the influx of Quebec spook-rock asylum seekers won’t end for a while yet.
