This YouTube Genius Has Made Concert Film From Fan-Shot Clips Of Radiohead’s Paris Gig

Do Radiohead have the most dedicated fans in the world? If there’s any doubt about that, just have a go at insulting the band on social media. You will tremble at their vitriol, you will cry and hold yourself and delete your Twitter acount, and then you will call your mum. Radiohead’s fans really, really love Radiohead.

None more so than megafan and YouTube user Johnny Airbag, who has combed the internet for video footage of a recent gig at Amsterdam’s Heineken Music Hall. He’s spliced it all together to make a complete gig. The band performed 24 songs and returned for no fewer than two encores, meaning this was an epic concert from Oxford’s finest. Their 2006 performance at Bonnaroo festival in Tennessee was so stunning it’s achieved canonical status in the band’s backstory, with fans poring over the footage online, but perhaps a new successor has emerged in this Amsterdam show, which has now been preserved for eternity (or until it potentially disappears completely from YouTube).

The result is an extraordinarily high quality concert film that see the band offer up live debuts of 10 songs from latest album ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’, kicking off with lead single ‘Burn The Witch’. Also performed: ‘Lucky’, ‘All I Need’, ‘Nude’, ‘Talk Show Host’ and ‘National Anthem.’ Johnny Airbag, here’s a lovely hug for you.
