Alec Empire

Who’d have guessed that Alec Empire is a 35-year-old German? Bleeps, beeps and a monotone spoken word vocal are the order of the day here; in other words it’s Kraftwerk as imagined by Datarock in a wet dream. Yawn.

But get this: Empire’s old band, Atari Teenage Riot, specialised in digital hardcore (sounds illegal to us) and our Alec has worked with Nine Inch Nails, Björk and Rage Against The Machine. Why is this so boring, then?
