'Girlfriend' sees the idiotically talented Keys cut out some of the melodrama...

"Taken from the forthcoming repackaged album 'Songs In A Minor'," apparently, which suggests in future artists will keep releasing the same record in different covers indefinitely. A bit like Moby does already, really. Or the way Silvertone have kept themselves in lark’s tongue vol au vents since 1990 by putting a different title on ‘The Stone Roses’ every Christmas.



Anyway, for those who don't already own the album in its boring old package, 'Girlfriend' sees the idiotically talented Keys cut out some of the melodrama, sparring instead with Jermaine Dupri, one of JAY-Z's countless current enemies. Ol' Dirty Bastard's on there too, or at least bits of his tune 'Brooklyn Zoo' are, which is probably safer in the long run.
