Aislers Set : The Red Hot EP

One for the cutie connoisseur.

Part Shangri-Las, part Sleater-Kinney, San Francisco's The Aislers Set pack a fey punch that Belle & Sebastian remain some way off attaining. It's simple '60s guitar/organ pop, for sure, but there's a sparkle and spring in its step that's elevates it above the usual bowl-haired copyists. One for the cutie connoisseur.
