industry's schoolmaster (metaphorically speaking, of course) Damon Gough isn't half making a right old fist of this orthodox pop malarkey. 'It Came From The Ground' in fact comes from The Badly Drawn one's 73rd EP or something, and is to all intents and purposes seven minutes' worth of fiercely played folk music with the odd dramatic flourish and the even odder coy bongo shuffle.
