Badly Drawn Boy : It came from the ground

It's as scruffy as it is genuine as it is dead clever, which therefore makes it quite, quite insane.

For a man who has such a reputation for flicking bogies at the
music
industry's schoolmaster (metaphorically speaking, of course) Damon Gough isn't half making a right old fist of this orthodox pop malarkey. 'It Came From The Ground' in fact comes from The Badly Drawn one's 73rd EP or something, and is to all intents and purposes seven minutes' worth of fiercely played folk music with the odd dramatic flourish and the even odder coy bongo shuffle.

It's as scruffy as it is genuine as it is dead clever, which therefore makes it quite, quite insane.
