On first listen, ‘Hurricane Jane’ sounds like a simple boy-meets-girl, asks girl-to-dance sort of song, but listen closer. “I took something and it feels like karate” trills Reggie Youngblood, “It’s kicked me down and left me for dead”. Yeah, this might be the sound of heartbreak, but it’s chemically enhanced, a lonely disco elegy for when your only company is whatever’s in your veins. It’s the space cadet’s very own ‘I Will Survive”.

come on man music fansm 'topp tune xxxxx' is not agood review of a song, the reason that balck kids are good is because a) theyre just generally uplifting and fun and b) the lead singer at some points sound slyk david bowir.............2 plusses

i think this song really captures the ever depressing feeling of lonliness but in one of those it's sad, yeah, but come one cheer up ways. I worked on the video for this song and fell in love with it. An excellent band with a unique sound which is alot more than most of the new and up and coming bands at the moment.

Another wickedy catchy song from the 'Kids. I have major love for them. I think this is better than the first single...a guaranteed dancefloor classic.
