Black Rebel Motorcycle Club : Whatever Happened To My Rock 'N' Roll (Punk Song)

If The Strokes are the nice boys with the great record collections, San Francisco-based BRMC are their hard-living, foul-mouthed cousins

If The

Strokes are the nice boys with the great record collections, San

Francisco-based BRMC are their hard-living,

foul-mouthed cousins who get all the girls but are never taken home to meet their

mothers. Named after Marlon Brando's motorcycle gang in the

1950 film 'The Wild One', they look like The Jesus

And Mary Chain after a nasty accident in a wind tunnel. This single, their

debut release over here, does exactly what it suggests in the title. It's loud,

obnoxious rock'n'roll - with an avalanche of moodiness thrown in for good

measure. The

Strokes had better watch out.
