Blood Red Shoes

I Wish I Was Someone Better

It takes a certain amount of bravado to be in a two-piece band. There’s not a lot of space, really, to vacate your position onstage and run along the front row slapping everyone on the hand while your partner quietly fumes into the third minute of their unrequested solo. Happily, Brighton duo Blood Red Shoes manage to do more than enough with a two-piece sound, powering along on a White Stripes boom-tish drum beat that’s periodically soaked by an upturned cauldron of sludgy, acidic guitar. “I made a mistake!/I made a mistake!” they shriek, as one. Not here, they didn’t.

You would never believe that this song was done by a two peice!
These are certainly one of the bands to look out for in the future with the catchy corus and solid drum beats all throught.
Certainly not to be overlooked!!! Watch out the White Stripes!
