Cage The Elephant

In One Ear // Relentless

Step back. ‘Cage The Elephant’ are not the polite young ukulele-slingers their moniker suggests. Quite frankly they’re terrifying; and ‘In One Ear’ is a giant paradox of a track. Messy, but sounding slick as hell, it should be a giant pile of clichés but it’s inexplicably exciting. We’re confused, possibly sexually. The rocker in you will think this is amazing and the kitten-loving little girl in you will want to run and hide as far away as possible. Imagine the world where Kings Of Leon and House Of Pain meet (no, seriously) and you’ll realise what a bafflingly cool track this actually is.
