Cats And Cats And Cats/This Town Needs Guns

Split EP

What kind of name is ‘Brilliant The Brill Ant’ for a song? But, then what kind of a fucking name is Cats And Cats And Cats for a band? Neither questions matter really, because this shittily-titled song is like a Los Campesinos-sized Flaming Lips: an art-punk intro to an EP of unmitigated brilliance. ‘26 Is Dancier Than 4’ from This Town Needs Guns, the equally oddly-titled band sharing this split release, is a pop racket and as brill as Brilliant, the aforementioned ant, and its ode ‘Brilliant The Brill Ant’. Confused? Don’t be. Just buy this.
