it used to be known. But before we get to that: Chris T-T is a clearly delicate soul, who may have done time in Norwich rock phenomenon Magoo. Now solo, he's decided to bare his very soul on this EP, without much concern for the fact that his soul is a 98lbs weakling with a dandruff problem.
But, hey, even physically flawed wimp-souls have needs. Knowwarramean, nudge wink? 'You Can Be Flirty' is a dire indie tune about how "uglies" (the
press release's words, not ours)
can get a little coquettish,
because sex and fun and
happiness isn't just the preserve
of people with pert buns and self-esteem. Normally, you'd agree.
But there's something about the sexless mewling, and the sterile jangle of a do-gooding guitar that puts you right off.
