Distortions(Domino)

New mates of Radiohead, which must really be the most spectacularly fortunate thing
ever to have happened to the world's indiest indie band. Ade Blackburn and his reverberating world - part Velvet Underground, part Krautrock, part Augustus Pablo - return with what sounds like their most fully realised single to date. "Your sister came to bait me", he says mournfully, as the band attempt to make his relationship meditations into something pretty impressively
epic and ultimately free of 'distortions'. 'Pale Blue Eyes',
on the cheap, basically. But really very good indeed.
