Cold War Kids

Hospital Beds

If Cold War Kids’ recent outing as Christians showed up the inability of certain sections of the media to deal with religion, especially in indie rock, then ‘Hospital Beds’ shows up our inability to deal with anything more serious than the incidental music to Ugly Betty. ‘Hospital Bed’’s terminal, brooding, longing vibe actually scares us – a lot like those red electricity bills we keep getting and ignoring.
