Some facts about po-faced Christian rockers Creed. They have sold more records than any other band in the new Millennium. They are, in fact and according to their own reckoning, American's biggest band on the planet right now. Leaving aside for a moment the frightening implications this has for one of the most powerful nations in the world, this single is basically the aural equivalent of one of those classic Gillette adverts. It's the sound of men with chiselled jaws and lumberjack shirts sweating out the sound of middle America. It is anti-rock n' roll. Forget Creed's public beliefs, this is nothing less than the devil's music.
