Lovefoxxx chomps like a baby with a bottleful of rum in a song that is a couple of handclaps and a sleighbell solo away from being The Perfect Pop Song. Imagine if Phil Spector (before the court cases and white afro years) got locked in a cupboard with Le Tigre’s Kathleen Hanna and then, said cupboard was smuggled over the US/Mexican border by Hot Chip en route to Studio 54. This would be the joyous tune that would be playing when they reached their destination.
