Some bands have what we’re calling, ‘web forum appeal’. If we were to call this “faux-heartwrenching drivel from men pushing clichés on us with the ferocity of a goth flyer distributor”, for example, you’d only see fuming fans typing out why “NME reviewers can’t right (sic) for shit” on the web boards. “Keep your mouth shut”, frontman Chris Carrabba urges with a sincerity suitable for drama class interpretations of The Crucible. So we will do. But will the forum vigilantes?
