“Guaranteed to cure cocaine psychosis. Or induce it. Whichever you prefer!” boasts frontman Mike Title of his band’s latest in a post on their MySpace page. And certainly, with its sleeve featuring some poor scamp sweating for England, its polished-Public Image bassline and yelped lines like “You called me up and said I’m sick of my life!”, these Kids appear to be doing everything they can to evoke those morning after blues. Strange, then, that rather than making you wonder whether everyone secretly hates you, this kinda makes you want to throw your hands in the air. Drugs, eh?
