You’ve all been waiting for Delays to return, right? No? Well, the Southampton scamps are back and still peddling the sort of uneasy electro-pop that sounded dated in 2004. ‘Love Made Visible’ begins with a tasteless vocoder and then gets worse, unleashing the clunky hook “Love made visible/Your skin feels incredible” over an identikit beat. Maybe we’re being a little harsh — they still know their way around a classic melody — but it’s all just too fey to excite. Not sleek enough for Skins, expect to hear this soundtracking some illicit snogging in Hollyoaks soon.
