The Racing Rats

Textbooks out: the world’s gloomiest physics teacher is back and ready
to regale us with another of his mortality-based questions. “If a plane were to fall from the sky/How big a hole would it leave in the surface of the Earth?” Cripes. Whimper. I think I’ve just bust my nib, sir. Tune in next week when Mr Smith will be asking, “If a train is travelling at 200mph and collides with a sackful of orphans, what’s the post-collision velocity?” We’ve not got enough fingers for that one (neither do the orphans) but can calculate that this is another magnificently OTT slice of Editors bombast.

They should have brought out Escape The Nest. But this is amazing, catchy and a top tune to listen to before you go ask for Joy Division.

True, this song is addictive. Slightly dark lyrics (sure, probably the plane's question is a little bit strange-it reminds me some existential problems- maybe Editors put it in on purpose =p), and then that sharp guitar, and the drum... Yeah, i really like it, no critics-like comments today ^.^
