The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster
In The Garden EP
When The Horrors ransacked TEMBD’s hell-house, they swiped the Topshop-on-Halloween garbs, Guy McKnight’s claw-to-throat bellow and their rare Cramps vinyl. Crucially, they forgot to pack the tunes into the hearse’s boot. And now Guy and co are back for revenge, shaking the mamba-black melody of ‘In The Garden’ in Faris’ face like it’s his dead pet rabbit, fully aware that there’s more fury in its hostbusters-go-gothic intro than in everything the ickle Horror will ever create. Fuck Genesis, the real ’80s are back.
