Emmy The Great

Emmy The Great

Emmy The Great

Gabriel

Has there ever been a less-appropriately named singer than young Emmy? Or at least one who seems less likely to proclaim her own greatness? Emmy’s latest offering is – of course – lovely, understated, quite beautifully and tastefully orchestrated… more inoffensive than her usual fare, but in a good way (if that’s possible). It’s difficult to be negative about records such as this, other than to say there’s certainly no shortage of stuff just like it. Being a little less bashful in the future would certainly help matters. Y’know, a few lyrics that go, “I’m fuckin’ ‘The Great’, me!”.
