She Can Do What She Wants/Sit Tighter

Tambourines, strings and straining falsettos – do tales about your missus leaving you get any prettier than this hunk of lonesome pop? Not in our books. It’s a short, soft blast of countrified perfection and the flipside – if it’s possible to flip an MP3 – is far more a white-boy hippity-hop affair, like Belle & Sebastian proving their mettle to Public Enemy. Which, rather worryingly, works a treat.
