Don’t be surprised if Foals’ addiction to self-sabotage results in the dubby, paranoid Various Productions remix ending up as the A-side. However, this album version remains the best thing Foals have written: soaring, sincere, emotional, boasting an actual chorus that bursts joyfully out of nowhere and all their little spidery tics and tactics employed in the process of illumination rather than obfuscation.
