Run

People bang on about what an odd-ball pairing Danger Mouse and Cee-Lo Green are, but, really, it’s hardly rocket science is it? One of the best producers in the world teams up with one of the best modern soul singers in the world and sparks fly like a spectacular welding accident. Sparks are flying particularly spectacularly on comeback single ‘Run’, the train-chug brass soul of which sticks two fingers in the eyes of anyone who thought the duo were a ‘Crazy’ one-hit wonder. An affliction not as unwelcome as it might seem now we’ve copped a pike at Cee-Lo in a wedding dress.
