Album review: Go:Audio - 'Made Up Stories'

2 / 10 Tick tick tick... boom. That’s the three-second time delay it takes from pressing ‘play’ on ‘Made Up Stories’ to becoming so suicidally depressed about your current predicament that a short, sharp exit seems the only remotely sensible option. Go: Audio are, essentially, an ADHD, pseudo-American version of Busted: whiny, arse-clenchingly irritating, and only palatable to 11 to 14- year-olds who spk lyk thz!<3! If you can grit your teeth and file them away in a little box marked ‘Emo For Children’ then, grating as their ‘rock star’ shtick may be, at least they have a place. What’s REALLY depressing though, is that they’re playing Shepherd’s Bush Empire soon, and it takes more than a few kids to fill that up. Lolz.
