In Morden, there are many mundane things you can see: KFCs, Poundsavers, Good Shoes busking. And yet, only two of those attractions offer value for money. After ‘Never Meant To Hurt You’ gave this band a point, the Shoes limp back into view with a southern-fried chicken of a song that basically boils down to what’s shit about their ’hood. The Jam’s ‘That’s Entertainment’ did pretty much the same back in the early-’80s. Good Shoes, what exactly is your point?
