Gorillaz : Tomorrow Comes Today

Sick to the stomach of Jah Albarn but unable to resist singing his tunes? Thought so. He’s got us where he wants us and, boy, does it hurt. This is yet another monumentally huge hit from the Gorillaz album and there’s no way around it: it’s a brilliant tune. It seems very, very wrong that there should be so many reasonable, decent people in the world without an ounce of artistic flair and yet Albarn, the original Nathan Barley, should be blessed as the nation’s most prolific, consistent and gifted pop songwriter. Jah dem know it, as my brethren said to me down the Portobello Grill the other morning.
