Grandaddy
Hewlett's Daughter (V2)
The second single from what everyone's calling The Greatest American
Psychedelic Rock Record Since The Last Great American Psychedelic Rock Record,
'Hewlett's Daughter' is a pleasant lullaby-chug that strongly suggests
that 'The Sophtware Slump' is the kind of album that needs to be listened
to 'as a coherent whole' to really appreciate 'the concept'. Haven't heard the
album, as it happens, but taking 'Hewlett's Daughter' as an example, may
one just note that Jason Lytle isn't fit to trim Wayne Coyne's
beard? Thanks.
