Leap Of Faith

Hadouken
Having already redefined grindie boundaries with the synapse-shredding ‘Liquid Lives’, these warriors return with their most ‘commercial’ tune to date, cunningly released as lead track on memory stick-only mixtape ‘Not Here To Please You’. A guitar riff as taut as a tripwire arrives courtesy of axe-abuser Lieutenant Pilau (don’t ask). As the tension builds – think Test Icicles caught in a vice – James Smith delivers a splenetic vision of modern Britain, morphing from a conspiratorial growl to a full-blown chav-hop preacherman as fluoro-metal mayhem explodes around him. Ace.
