Incubus : Are You In?

Incubus, a band named after a William Shatner movie, continue to gad about their glamorous shorts, roaring with righteous indignation at the sheer awfulness of their over-privileged Californian lifestyle. But, like, dude? What's that sound? Why, 'tis the malodorous clamour of desperation as the camera-friendly Yanks, fearful of eternal banishment to the fires of nu-metal Hell, attempt to jazz up their 'scary' rap-rock bag with a profusion of fat bass and genre-defying funk guitar. Does it work? Does it funk. 'Are You In?' is as threatening as a plaid duvet and sounds like a pantomime horse singing 'Give It Away' badly, underwear, while wearing shorts.
