The Heinrich Maneuver

Interpol
You know you can normally rely on an Interpol song to start all chuggy and full of epic promise and then crash out into a blaze of serious chorus and spine-prodding guitars that make your eyes water? Well, it would seem that’s one party trick they’ve completely forgotten how to execute. ‘The Heinrich Maneuver’ builds up, and up and up, and erm, then it just finishes. Back to songwriting school, boys – even if it’s just part-time.
