There are people who would suggest that Ja Rule’s shift from gritty ghetto superstar to silky R&B-tinged love puppet is sellout of the highest order. And then there are people whose ears work. Teaming up with long forgotten mentalist berk Bobby Brown for four minutes of macho gangland bravado-lite, it seems the further Rule meddles in pop concerns the brighter his blunt burns.
