Another day, another Peñate single. This one sounds a bit like The Kooks if Luke didn’t swagger so much and the lyrics were even more lifeless and banal. On the plus side, however, it’s kind of perky and kind of fun. What’s more it, um, sounds pretty heartfelt too, and… No, sorry, there isn’t a plus side to this. Enough with this repetitive, identikit chop-pop – we can’t and don’t want to take any more. “Have I been a fool? Just say…” pleads our hero. OK then Jack, we’ll level with you: you’ve been a fool. Ditto anybody who buys this, at least as anything other than a coaster.
