Lopez, Jennifer : I'm Gonna Be Alright

A thoroughly pointless exercise...

It takes a certain audacity to release a remix compilation as totally hollow as La Lopez’s recent, risible ‘J To The L-O!’ project. It’s just plain arrogance to follow it up with even more rehashed material. True, ‘I’m Gonna Be Alright’ is one of Jennifer’s more workable vanity pieces - but clearly, some boardroom-bound sales analyst has decided she needs a spot more Ghetto Credibility. Step forward, then, Nas, who raps about Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio for approximately thirty seconds, and then leaves, quite possibly in a gold-plated truck. A thoroughly pointless exercise, unless of course you happen to be in charge of balancing the accounts for Ms Lopez's rider.
