NME Rave tour comes to a climax with multi-band orgy
Of all the rave classics that Lovefoxxx could use to launch herself into the masses of Hammersmith, ‘Hey Jude’ isn’t top of the list. Still, it’s their tour, these ravers can do what they like. Tonight the stage is bent beneath the collective weight of New Young Pony Club, Sunshine Underground, CSS and Klaxons and a thousand tonnes of synth as the NME indie rave tour comes to a climax in a hail storm of glowsticks and goofy good cheer. As the bands blast through 'Put You In Your Place' and 'It’s Not Over' one thing becomes clear: inter-band rivalry is so last year.
